Senior Rails Developers

Bay Area CA / Austin Texas / Chennai India

We are looking for exceptional software development engineers in Bay Area, CA/Austin, Texas/Chennai, India. Positions are full-time with above industry average salary, stock options, bonus and benefits.

What you'll do:

  • Work in a small, dedicated, agile, flat, and idea centric team.
  • Design and implement new features.
  • Write elegant code.
  • Propose new/bleeding edge technologies/methodologies for the project.
  • Extend, fix and reverse engineer some of the popular Rails gems.

Required skills:

  • B.S. Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience in developing web applications
  • Good knowledge of Ruby and Rails 2.x/3 (1+ years experience)
  • Good HTML/CSS/Javascript (jQuery) coding skills
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Cucumber, RSpec etc.)
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in SVN or Git
