This privacy policy explains how Thinkspeed Research, LLC ("Thinkspeed," "we," “our” and "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information obtained from users, customers, research community members and other visitors to its websites (each, a "Site" and collectively, the "Sites"). If you are registered as a Thinkspeed Research Community member, you have agreed and are additionally subject to the research community member Terms and Conditions. If you are not a Thinkspeed Research Community member, by visiting the Sites you consent to the collection and use of your information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information You Provide

Thinkspeed collects information that you voluntarily provide to us on our Site – including name, contact information, and past work experience – when registering as a user, customer or research community member, subscribing to a newsletter, posting to our blog or community user group, and/ or submitting a testimonial. Thinkspeed customers and research community members may also provide financial information (including credit card number and expiration date), which we use for billing purposes and to fill your order. Thinkspeed may also collect personal identifiable information from third parties if you give permission for those third parties to share your information with us.

2. Automatically Collected Information

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the Site, to understand users’ movements around the Site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We also use “cookies” to recognize specific visitors and more quickly provide personalized content, or grant you unimpeded access to the Site. Cookies are small text files a Web site can use to recognize repeat users. With cookies enabled, you will often not need to fill in password or contact information. 3. Information Use

We do not sell or share your personal information obtained through our Sites with third parties for their marketing purposes. Thinkspeed and trusted third parties process personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, including in one or more of the following ways.

Communications from Thinkspeed

We will use your information to communicate with you and provide you with transactional messages in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following: (i) When you register as a user you will receive a short welcome email; (ii) We may contact Thinkspeed Research Community members about specific project opportunities; and (iii) If you begin but do not complete the registration process, Thinkspeed may contact you based on information you provide us to determine if you wish to complete the process of becoming a user, customer or research community member.

We will send you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. If you are a paid subscriber, you may also receive emails regarding your account status and billing. Generally, you may not opt out of these transactional communications which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

We may use your information to contact you about other products or services that we offer and about products and services of third parties in which you may be interested. You may opt out of receiving such communications from us at any time (but not the transactional emails described in the paragraphs above) by contacting us as set out below in the section below entitled “Opt-Out Procedures”.

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe from newsletters at any time. Please see the section below entitled “Opt-Out Procedures”.

We use information that we collect from your participation in studies to monitor Site traffic or improve the Site.

We post testimonials on the Site that you submit to us from time to time. We always request permission to post your testimonial on the Site, and we may use your information to contact you for the purpose of requesting such permission.

Referral Emails from Thinkspeed

At the direction of our users, customers or research community members, we send invitation emails on behalf of them to email addresses provided by them. Each user, customer or research community member’s list of such email addresses is stored on our system, but the email addresses in those lists are not used by Thinkspeed in any other way.

Use of Studies and Results by Thinkspeed

Your study responses and results are kept in strict confidence and used in compliance with legal requirements. We will never use your study questions or responses other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy (or for research community members, in accordance with the research community member Terms and Conditions) unless we have your consent and then only anonymously and by aggregating them with questions and/ or responses from other studies.

You have the ability to export, share, or publish data from your studies. We provide various features to export, share, or publish your study questions, responses, and results in summary or detailed format.

We may also use your information, including your study questions and research community member responses, as well as aggregated data we collect through study results to help us provide and improve our overall services.

Statistical Analyses by Thinkspeed

Thinkspeed reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics. We do this in order to measure interest in, and use of, the various areas of the Site. Statistical analyses are performed on anonymous, aggregated data.

IP Addresses

Thinkspeed collects IP addresses for system administration and record keeping. Your IP address is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the World Wide Web. Our servers record incoming IP addresses. By tracking IP addresses, we can determine which Web sites refer the most people to Thinkspeed. The IP addresses are analyzed in the aggregate, and we may also associate your IP address with your account for the purpose of managing your account.

4. Information Disclosure

Your information will be held by Thinkspeed in the United States and may also be held and accessed by Thinkspeed staff and third parties working for Thinkspeed, or Thinkspeed’s subsidiaries and affiliates, inside and outside the United States. If your information is gathered outside the United States, it may be transferred to Thinkspeed’s United States offices to be used for these purposes, and it may be transferred to and shared with any of Thinkspeed’s worldwide locations.

Thinkspeed may disclose your information in response to legal process, to protect our rights, as otherwise required by law, or for the prevention or detection of a crime. If we sell our company or part of it, or our business enters into a joint venture with another business entity, Thinkspeed may disclose your information to our new business partners or owners who may then provide you with information about their products and services.

5. Accessing or Updating Information

You are entitled to see the personal information held about you, subject to Thinkspeed’s confidentiality obligations to its customers and research community members. You may also request that we make changes to your personal information so that it is accurate and kept up to date, and we may update your information using data obtained from third parties. Thinkspeed Research Community members are required regularly to update the biographical and employment information that they provide to Thinkspeed.

6. Opt-Out Procedures

Upon request, Thinkspeed will allow any user to opt out of our monthly newsletter and from receiving emails about other products and services. You may contact us by email at support@thinkspeed.com, or follow the unsubscribe instructions included in applicable emails sent to you.

7. Security & Retention

We employ security measures to protect your information both online and offline from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires. If you are a Thinkspeed Research Community member, we may retain your information for its business purposes if you cease to be an research community member, provided that Thinkspeed will protect all such information about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Links

Our Sites may contain links to other web sites belonging to third parties. Please make sure when you leave our Sites that you have read that web site''s privacy policy as this Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected at our Sites.

9. Privacy Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically and this will be reflected by the “Effective Date” above. Please revisit this page to stay aware of any changes. In general, we only use your personal information in the manner described in the Privacy Policy in effect when we received the personal information you provided. Your continued use of Thinkspeed.com services constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any future revisions.
